Ramey Auto Group continued its longtime support of the local community on Monday, making a donation to fund the recently revived Bluefield College Rams football team. The West Virginia car dealer presented Bluefield College president Dr. David Olive and Rams football coach Mike Gravier with a $5,000 check.
Bluefield College is more than just a local school to WV car dealer Ramey Auto Group. Jonathan Sheets, sales manager at Ramey Toyota, says that the donation is “something that Mr. Ramey wanted to do. We have a lot of employees and a lot of his family that’s graduated from Bluefield College. [We] just feel really fortunate to contribute to a program like this”.
This is not the first time that the West Virginia auto dealer has offered its support to local athletic programs: “any type of athletics, from pee-wee football to collegiate football, we’re just happy to be a part of it”, says Sheets.
Bluefield College recently announced that its football team will begin playing again after a 69 year absence from the field. The school disbanded the Rams football program in 1941 because most of its male athletes had been called away to serve in World War II. The Bluefield College Rams are scheduled to begin club play in fall 2011 and intercollegiate matchups during the 2012 football season.

Atlanta, GA, September 14, 2010 – Automotive advertising agency Force Marketing announces the appointment of Holly Patterson to its Force Digital team. Patterson will serve as Interactive Marketing Manager for the automotive ad agency, providing strategic leadership, tactical execution, and analytic support for dealer SEO and search engine marketing programs. She will also manage social media campaigns and internet reputation management initiatives for Force Digital’s clients.
A graduate of Vanderbilt University and Belmont University in Nashville, TN, Patterson earned both a bachelor of the arts degree in English and a master of business administration degree. With over 10 years of marketing experience, Patterson has successfully managed digital marketing initiatives for a diverse set of companies, including Compendia Music Group, Sheridan Square Entertainment, and Jupiterimages Corporation. “Holly’s ingenuity, analytical talent, and passion for digital marketing made her an ideal addition to our automotive internet advertising team. Her ability to think outside of the box will undoubtedly strengthen the already impressive results that we offer to our clients”, says Jim Fitzpatrick, President/CEO of Force Marketing.
Fitzpatrick decided to expand the Force Digital team in response to an overwhelming demand for automotive SEO and search marketing services. “Impressed by the results that our full service automotive advertising team produces, our clients have become increasingly interested in what Force Digital can do to improve their online visibility and generate more internet leads.
