Basic automobiles acquire cash for Sheriff Reserves | information

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Reserves held a car show on Saturday, June 19, to raise funds for the reserves.

The event took place in Marshall County Park No. 1 on US Highway 431 in Guntersville. More than just a car show, the event included door prizes, gun gifts, a Dukes of Hazzard Museum featuring General Lee, and more.

Marshall County Reserves captain Barry Priest said the event went well despite being canceled due to rain. Although 72 cars officially entered the competition, Priest said “at least 100” enthusiasts went out to demonstrate their drives.

Phillip Carr won the Sheriff’s Pick Trophy with his Ford Mustang Class.

The Marshall County Sheriff’s reserves raised approximately $ 6,900 from donations. Priest said he was “blessed” and appreciated everyone who helped with the auto show and donated to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Reserves.
