Jaguar E-Kind that when handed Graham Hill will probably be on show on the London Traditional Automotive Present

The festival also includes the legendary ECD400 chassis, which was once driven by Formula 1 champion Graham Hill. Gaynor Caunt, editor of Jaguar Driver Magazine, helped organize the tribute this weekend.

Synonymous with British culture, the E-Type was the car of choice for a number of top celebrities at the time.

Early E-Type owners include Peter Sellers, Beatles star George Harrison, Frank Sinatra and soccer player George Best.

Movie fans will also recognize the iconic model that was destroyed by the Mafia in the Italian Job in 1969.

The E-Type is so eye-catching that Enzo Ferrari once called it “the most beautiful car of all time”.

“There are so many anniversaries this year, it’s the 25th anniversary of the XK8, the 60th anniversary of the Mk10, the 20th anniversary of the X-Type.”

Ms. Cauter adds that this June it will also be 70 years since Jaguar first won the legendary French endurance race at Le Mans.

The London Classic Car Show will take place in Syon Park from June 25th to 27th.
