Musk says Tesla will settle for bitcoins if miners use smart clear power

June 13 (Reuters) – Elon Musk of Tesla Inc. tweeted Sunday that the company will resume Bitcoin transactions if it confirms proper use of clean energy by miners.

“Tesla only sold ~ 10% of its inventory to confirm that BTC could easily be liquidated without moving the market,” he said in the tweet here. “If there is confirmation of reasonable (~ 50%) clean energy consumption by miners with a positive future trend, Tesla will allow Bitcoin transactions again.”
