Dozens of vintage cars drove to the Halifax Farmer’s Market on Saturday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. as part of the Tinkers Car Club-Cruz-in cooperation with Viny’s Italian Restaurant. The President of the Tinkers Car Club, Les Cook, estimated a total of 80 to 85 participants. “We had a really good turnout. Everyone enjoyed it, ”said Cook, noting that this was the first time the event has been held at the Halifax Farmers Market. He also said the club organizers had to keep moving the line in order to put more classic cars on the market. The organizers of the Tinkers Car Club are looking forward to another big event in October. A Downtown Cruz-In is scheduled for October 9th from 3pm to 7pm in downtown South Boston.
