Tesla Delays, Audi Grandsphere EV Idea, BMW Eco Idea, Nikola and Bosch: At the moment’s Automotive Information

Audi is showing the shape of an autonomous electric sedan for later in the decade. BMW is thinking about circular economy and CO2 reduction in a concept vehicle. Nikola chooses Bosch for fuel cells. And the list of long-delayed Tesla products is growing. This and more here at Green Car Reports.

Tesla only confirmed two significant delays this week – Roadster and Cybertruck. Earlier this week, Elon Musk confirmed that the roadster would not be delivered until 2023, and then Musk reportedly announced, as part of an internal company update, that the cybertruck would be postponed until the end of 2022.

The Audi Grandsphere EV concept was developed from the inside out, in a future in which level 4 autonomous driving allows the driver to relax temporarily. And it also manages to look classy and inspiring.

Hydrogen fuel cell truck startup Nikola turned to automotive supplier Bosch, not GM, for its fuel cell hardware to be used in trucks assembled in the USA.

BMW is aiming for drastic CO2 reductions per vehicle as well as more recycled content in its cars and has teased a related i Vision Circular concept vehicle for the upcoming Munich auto show.
