The 36th annual Medford Cruise brings over 300 basic automobiles to market

MEDFORD, Ore. – Classic car enthusiasts came together this weekend in Fichtner Mainwaring Park for the 36th annual Medford Cruise.

The event brought out 350 cars, with people going as far as Massachusetts and Nebraska.

The oldest car on Medford Cruise that year is a 1901 Oldsmobile Curvedash.

One attendee, Bill Lahmann, drove down from Salem to show off his 1923 Ford Roadster.

“I grew up with cars, have been doing them since I was 16, and I won’t tell you how old I am. Now I’m trying to get it [his grandson] into sport, ”said Lahmann.

He says the Medford Cruise will be one of the first car shows since the pandemic began that he can bring out his roadster.

The event ends tomorrow with a multicultural car show and performance.
