Traditional vehicles hit town heart as Coventry MotoFest prepares for the finale

If you’re a classic car fan, today (August 8th) you can head into Coventry city center for the final day to see the hundreds of vehicles on display.

Classic cars are on display in and around Broadgate until 5 p.m. today, while the modern, modified cars are on display in and around the former Ikea site.

A horde of amazing-looking vehicles drove across downtown on Saturday – and remains in place today – including an eye-catching collection of Riley engines.

This year marks the 125th anniversary of the Riley brand and the owners have gathered to display their cars.

The free classic car show is just one of the highlights of this weekend in the staggered MotoFest.

The festival had to take place over several weekends this year due to the pandemic after the organizers decided to make it possible.

MotoFest Music will also take place on Millennium Place today from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with music from local bands, musicians and a performance by HOPE Coventry tonight (Sunday).

This can also be viewed free of charge.
